Handyman/Carpenter
This important role is responsible for performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and carpentry tasks. This role requires proficiency in handling tools and equipment, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage time efficiently to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing plumbing leaks, repairing electrical fixtures, painting, and drywall repair.
• Address emergency maintenance issues promptly.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, such as doors, furniture, cabinets, and shelves.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Install doors, windows, flooring, and other hardware.
• Assemble and install furniture and other items as required.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
• Diagnose problems and determine the best solutions.
• Plan and estimate materials and time needed for specific projects.
• Verify and validate delivery of materials.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with site, local building codes and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Competencies:
• Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, metal, and other materials.
• Ability to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems to handle minor repairs and installations.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Skills in painting, staining, and finishing surfaces to ensure a polished look.
• Proficiency in installing, repairing, and finishing drywall.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a handyman, carpenter, or in a similar role.
